Awards
Outstanding Career Armed Services Attorney Awards Annually, the Judge Advocates Association and Judge Advocates Foundation recognize outstanding achievements of career attorneys serving as Judge Advocates. The awards are presented annually at a banquet held in the National Capital Region. The 2007 banquet will be on May 16th at the Army Navy Country Club. The services are invited to nominate candidates in both active and reserve status. The Judge Advocates General for each of the services, along with the Staff Judge Advocate to the Commandant of the Marine Corps, are invited to participate in recognizing the award winners. Nominees must be 35 years of age, or older, and are evaluated on professional accomplishments, service to community, leadership, service to the legal profession and development of subordinates.
