The Judge Advocates Association hosts various educational programs throughout the year. The most significant of these being the annual Appellate Advocacy Seminar, typically held in the Fall; and the Military Administrative Law Seminar. This year's Appellate Advocacy Seminar was held 12 September 2006 at Catholic University of America.
